Riley Winchester thought that she was a normal girl, but unbeknownst to her she was actually born not one earth but on the planet Gallifrey. A year after she was born her parents sent her away to the planet earth as they had both sensed the uprising war about to start. Both of them murdered in the war sadly to leave her an orphan. When Riley got to earth a human woman found her and took her in as her own daughter. Riley’s only true memory of her real parents was a blue and silver medallion in circular Gallifreyan. When they tried to take it from her the necklace was found to be protected by an ancient spell that her mother cast as protection for her child. When Riley was 15 her and her guardian moved to the UK in search of a new life. On the last day of school in her freshmen year her school was attacked by Daleks and she was taken prisoner. She busts out of her cell and then later meets the Tenth doctor who saves her. the two become close friends going on many adventures together, but the Doctor has a reality check when at the Adipose factory Riley almost loses her life. The tenth doctor knowing the his days before regeneration were growing short and also not wanting to lose finally left Riley behind but promised to one day come back for her. five years later the eleventh Doctor feeling lonely and bored finds himself in Cardiff park where by chance he meets her once again. He invites her to come traveling with him and promises to help her find out her true identity. Over the course of their travels Riley develops a crush on the 11th doctor but is too frightened to tell him because she’s afraid things would become awkward between them, later though the Doctor and Riley both discover her true identity after she regenerates and show all the signs of a true full blood time lord. The doctor becomes overjoyed by this now knowing that he is no longer alone.
